Kat loves all things media. As both a digital content producer for public media start-up LehighValleyNews.com and a 2022 graduate of Muhlenberg’s Media and Communication program, they have explored journalism and critical pop culture studies.
While on campus, Kat held 2 jobs while making Dean’s List, participating in 2 separate honors programs, and working on the school’s newspaper as Editor-in-Chief. They also assisted a professor in his research and writing. While they love writing and content creation, their heart lies in the research process and learning as much as they can about a new thing.
In their own time, they are an avid reader and watcher of fantasy, thrillers, and romance, as well as being a beginner knitter. They love to try new recipes, but their go-to right now is a Mediterranean-inspired recipe that their boyfriend lovingly calls “chickpea mush.”
